We're celebrating someone very special's birthday today!!!! It's my oldest... most peanutty... best goalie ever... great student... wonderful big brother to Conor... and most of all ~ a blessing from above, Sean's special day. He's 12!
I can't believe how quickly these last 12 years have flown by. Could it possibly be a result of the joy that envelopes motherhood? I'd like to think so. Sean's birthday is a constant reminder of the wonderful gifts God bestowes upon us. Jim and I wanted a child more than anything, and it took many years for our prayers to be answered. The Lord was always listening - even when the words were merely cries within my heart. He knows our inner-most thoughts before we can even think them. "I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb." Jeremiah 1:5 I'm so grateful for a loving Father that has blessed me with the desires of my heart.
